Heart Math

“Whatever techniques you practice, realize that the message of the heart becomes clearer when the mind is quiet. And in order to truly quiet the mind, we need to bring the head into alignment with the heart.”
Doc Childre

What is HeartMath?

Your heart is more than a pump it communicates with your brain and influences your emotions, decisions, and health. HeartMath teaches you to create coherence, a state where your heart, mind, and emotions are aligned for clarity, calm, and resilience.

How HeartMath Works

Heartmath is a science based biofeedback system which uses simple, practical techniques designed to fit into everyday life. It uses Heart Focused Breathing by focusing your attention on your heart, breathe slowly and deeply and consciously, generating positive emotions like gratitude or appreciation.

The Biofeedback Tools measure heart rate variability (HRV) and coherence in real time, giving you insights into how stress and emotions affect your body and when you are breathing at the desired pace. A generation of positive emotions shift stress to clarity and calmness by consciously accessing emotions that support coherence.

Practicing simple exercises can be done anywhere at your desk, during a commute, or in quiet moments at home.
